Job summary

ShopRite’s Delran, NJ location is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead all functions of the Bakery Department and its associates, driving sales, profit, and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the General Store Manager and emphasizes safety, presentation, and efficiency in daily operations.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining records, ensuring product quality, and upholding company standards across safety and customer service priorities.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shift.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and work with various products.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents during housekeeping duties.
• Interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Bakery Department functions and staff.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and food handling compliance.
• Maintain temperature logs and production sheets.
• Manage inventory, pricing, and displays in the bakery.
• Provide training and feedback to Associates.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and engagement.
