Job summary

ShopRite Marlboro is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct and supervise all Bakery Department functions and staff, driving sales, profit, and customer experience. You will lead associates, ensure food safety, and maintain Bakery operations in alignment with company priorities.

Responsibilities include staff onboarding, training, scheduling, safety enforcement, and collaboration with store leadership to achieve department goals and excellent Customer Experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. (and occasional 60 lbs.).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to lead Associates to department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Bakery Department and its Associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in daily bakery operations.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development of department staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
