Job summary

ShopRite of North Brunswick is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the department, supervise associates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales, quality, and safety through daily oversight of bakery operations.

The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to company priorities, with hands-on involvement in staffing, training, and day-to-day production and display standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/ or processed products.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to lead department associates to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Bakery Department and its associates.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead training, performance feedback, and engagement of staff.
• Maintain product stocking, pricing, and display standards.
• Manage department operations to meet sales and customer experience goals.
