Job summary

SpartanNash in Rapid City, SD is seeking a part-time Deli/Bakery Associate. You will independently prepare food, fry, package, display, and stock deli and/or bakery products to support store profitability and guest satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred), retail experience, basic math, and attention to detail. You will follow safety, food safety, and guest-experience guidelines in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery/deli products to plan.
• Package and label bakery/deli products per plan.
• Merchandise bakery/deli products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with bakery/deli products; rotate and date cases.
• Collaborate with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Notify manager when products or supplies need reordering.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• Flex to other departments as needed.
