Job summary

SpartanNash in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate to prepare, package, label, and stock Bakery/Deli products. You will work independently to ensure quality, safety, and guest experience while contributing to store profitability.

The role requires a High School Diploma (GED preferred) and at least 1 year of retail or related experience, with basic math skills and attention to detail. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli items per plan
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli items according to flight plans
• Stock Backroom with Bakery/Deli products and rotate stock
• Coordinate with other departments and stores to support growth
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager when supplies need ordering
• Follow PPE, safety, and cleaning guidelines
• Assist in other departments as needed
