Job summary

SpartanNash in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Part-time Deli/Bakery Associate to prepare, fry, package, display and stock bakery and deli products, while following safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines.

You’ll work independently with basic math, read and interpret program plans, label items, merchandise per plans, and collaborate with other departments to support store growth; prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented with strong accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fry, package, display and stock bakery and deli products.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products per Flight plan/Merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products; rotate and date cases/buckets.
• Communicate tasks, weights, measures and cleaning steps to associates.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager if products or supplies need to be ordered.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on needs.
