Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package all baked goods, assist the Bakery Manager with pricing and merchandising, and ensure the display is clean, inviting, and well stocked in a fast paced store. The ideal candidate is 18+, has a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience, is dependable, flexible with shifts, and possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.

You will weigh, label, and price products and maintain a sanitary work area.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly, with positive attitude and customer interaction.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain clean, sanitary department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and related equipment; weigh and label products.
• Stand for long periods and move items up to 40 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper presentation.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep floors.
• Rotate and discard outdated items; inspect shipments for quality.
