Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present bakery items in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will assist the Bakery Manager, maintain cleanliness, handle pricing, stock, and quality control while delivering friendly service and ensuring safety standards are met. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years bakery experience, be 18+, and able to stand long shifts; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure Bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented and the area stays clean
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and cases; ensure pricing accuracy and rotation of bakery products
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
• Stand and handle equipment and tools as needed and work in a fast-paced environment
