Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk in a fast-paced retail bakery. You will prepare, bake, package, and merchandise all baked goods while delivering friendly customer service in a busy department.

You’ll help maintain a clean, safe bakery area and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. The ideal candidate is at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years bakery experience, and a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with strong customer interaction skills.
• Able to take direction and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and maintain clean, sanitary bakery area.
• Stock and rotate bakery items, ensure pricing accuracy, and discard spoiled items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Operate bakery tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
