Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to join its bakery team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will prepare and package baked goods, assist with merchandise, and ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.

The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable mix of education and experience. Expect a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere with flexible scheduling and daily benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders; perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods and assist Bakery Manager with pricing and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure products are properly prepared and presented.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, fill, rotate, and ensure pricing accuracy; discard outdated items.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
