Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising all baked goods. You will deliver outstanding customer service, handle ordering, pricing, and keep the bakery area clean, safe, and organized.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma/equivalent and 1–2 years of bakery experience, capable of flexible hours including nights and weekends, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1–2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; ability to take direction.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors, manage spills.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
