Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, bake, package, and merchandise bakery goods in a fast-paced store environment.

You will support the Bakery Manager, ensure product quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area while delivering strong customer service. The role requires 18+ years with a high school diploma, 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure Bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, maintaining a clean Bakery area
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, cases, and equipment
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated items
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
• Thrive in a fast paced environment and contribute to a teamwork-driven bakery
