Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a friendly Bakery Clerk to assist in baking and merchandising bakery items in a fast-paced store. You will ensure quality presentation, handle customer orders, and maintain a clean, safe bakery workspace.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable scheduling, and strong communication to deliver excellent customer service and help guests choose healthy options.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and present baked items neatly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating products.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
