Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods. You will provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are presented clean and fresh in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and excellent communication to help customers make healthy choices and enjoy an exceptional shopping experience in our bakery department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and displayed nicely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard expired items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
