Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and team-oriented, able to follow directions.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain clean, sanitary work area.
• Operates knives, scales, wrappers, and handling equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high levels of customer service; ensure proper preparation, packaging, and presentation.
• Maintain clean and sanitary bakery area; clean shelves, floors, and equipment.
• Stock, rotate, and price bakery items; discard outdated items as needed.
• Receive and log product shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Handle fast-paced environment with efficiency and teamwork.
