Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking, and merchandising all baked goods while delivering outstanding customer service. You will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and support pricing, stocking, and rotation of products.

The role requires 18+ years old, a HS diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years bakery experience or an equivalent combination. Flexible schedule availability and team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department; follow safety and health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment; contribute to team success.
