Sprouts Farmers Market in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to join a fast-paced bakery team. You will prepare and package baked goods, assist with pricing and merchandising, and ensure cleanliness and customer service across the bakery area.

Requirements include 1–2 years bakery experience (or equivalent), a High School diploma or equivalent, and ability to stand for long periods, lift items, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks; weighing and labeling products.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, presented, and stocked properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and remove hazards.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Support fast-paced operations and respond to customer needs.
