Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness in the department.
• Able to stand long hours and operate basic bakery tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize as needed.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive and log products for shipment quality, temperature, and accuracy.
• Stand for long periods and handle equipment as needed in a fast-paced environment.
