Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods and assist in daily bakery operations. You will deliver outstanding customer service, help with pricing, stocking, and merchandising, and maintain a clean, safe bakery area.

The role requires 1–2 years bakery experience or an equivalent combination, ability to stand long hours, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. A Food Handlers permit is preferred where required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in bakery area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager with prep, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper presentation of Bakery items.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, rotate, and price bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive and log products for shipment; ensure correct temperature and quality.
