Sprouts Farmers Market in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and display baked goods, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist the Bakery Manager, maintain a clean, safe area, handle packaging, pricing, stock rotation, and support customers with orders and questions; weekend/night availability is valued, and safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitize work area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; keep area clean.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep floors and remove spills.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate with team effectively.
