Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent.
• Dependable with flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction.
• Good communication; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of the department and equipment.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and related equipment; weigh products accurately.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comply with safety/health/Weighs & Measures regulations; maintain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising baked goods.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and maintain clean, sanitary bakery area.
• Stock and rotate bakery products; check pricing and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for temperature and quality.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers and related equipment safely.
