Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging and merchandising baked goods, while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

You will maintain a clean, safe bakery area, assist with pricing and stock rotation, and handle orders and inquiries from customers. Competitive benefits and a team-oriented environment await.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Bakery experience or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, with positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Capable of answering phones and taking special orders.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers and basic equipment; weigh and label products.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service; ensure items are prepared, packaged, presented, and clean.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize as needed.
• Stock, face, price and rotate bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive and log shipments for accuracy, temperature and quality.
