Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing with strong communication and the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping to maintain a clean department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks safely.
• Stand for long hours and lift up to 40 lbs with/without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, presented, and kept clean.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize as needed.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
