Sprouts Farmers Market in McKinney, TX is hiring a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present baked goods while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

You will assist the Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking, and merchandising, ensure cleanliness, rotate products, and handle customer orders. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years bakery experience.
• Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to take directions.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Stand for up to 3 hours at a time, total 8 hours per shift; lift up to 40 lbs. with proper technique.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; maintain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain quality presentation of Bakery items.
• Keep bakery area clean, sanitary and organized; stock and rotate products; check pricing.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Support fast-paced operations and team collaboration.
