Job summary

El Super #26 Las Vegas is seeking a Bakery Clerk to deliver friendly service under the Bakery Manager. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, restock cases, and keep displays clean.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and to follow food safety guidelines. The starting rate is $14.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and training through our Store Operations team.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in the bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean, stock, and rotate displays and cases.
• Collaborate with the baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Help with department cleaning and safety compliance.
