Job summary

El Super is seeking a Bakery Clerk at Las Vegas Sahara location to provide friendly service and assist with daily bakery tasks. You will help customers, stock shelves, assist in displaying products, take special orders, and work with the Bakery Manager to determine which items to bake or decorate.

Knowledge of food safety is essential, with a Food Handler Card required for food prep roles. Starting rate is $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Apply common-sense understanding to detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, often 45 lbs, and occasionally 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in bakery and assist with purchases.
• Maintain clean shelves and display cases; rotate items as needed.
• Assist Baker with baking/decorating decisions and special orders.
• Follow food safety rules; Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.
