Job summary

El Super is seeking a Bakery Clerk for #20 Las Vegas to join our Store Operations Team. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist with bakery purchases, and help manage displays. This role involves collaboration with the Bakery Manager and Bakers to coordinate baking and decorating tasks.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly to customers and staff.
• Follow written or oral instructions with basic common sense.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, occasionally up to 60 lb.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills and familiarity with retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service in the bakery area.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Keep shelves and displays clean; manage self-serve displays near the bakery.
• Work with the baker to determine items needing baking or decorating.
