Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; bakery experience preferred.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain clean, sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, hand trucks, and weigh and label products.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure products are properly prepared, packaged and presented, keeping area clean.
• Maintain clean and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep floors and remove hazards.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
