Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present baked goods while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, friendly setting. The role supports the Bakery Manager and ensures cleanliness and safety in the department.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of bakery experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness of the Bakery department area
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and cases
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation and discarding outdated items
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
• Thrive in a fast paced environment
