Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Strong communication and ability to take instructions in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation of the department.
• Ability to operate deli equipment and weigh/label products.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. with safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
