Job summary

Choosedelicious is seeking a dependable Baker to produce large batches of breads, muffins, and snacks for childcare centers, schools, and institutional clients. You will read recipes, measure ingredients, and operate commercial equipment in a fast-paced commissary setting.

Strong attention to food safety and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. This full-time position involves early mornings and collaboration with the kitchen team to meet daily meal production goals.

Qualifications

• High-volume baking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial baking equipment.
• ServSafe certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production schedules precisely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake high volumes of bread, muffins, snacks, and other bakery items daily according to recipes.
• Accurately measure, mix, and portion ingredients to maintain product consistency.
• Operate and maintain mixers, ovens, proofers, and portioning equipment.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Package baked goods for delivery according to production and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate production timing across the meal program.
