Job summary

ABM Industries in Atlanta, GA seeks a Baggage Service Supervisor to oversee the baggage service office for arriving passengers and lead a team of baggage handlers. You will ensure efficient operations and assist passengers with baggage questions and changes.

Responsibilities include handling delayed or damaged baggage claims, coordinating with flight and ground crews, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet all requirements to receive airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of baggage handlers.
• Supervise the baggage service office for arriving passengers and assist with transfers.
• Provide excellent customer service regarding luggage.
• Monitor baggage carousels ensuring passengers receive baggage.
• Address baggage claims involving lost or damaged baggage.
• Answer passenger questions and coordinate with flight/ground crews.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
