Job summary

Simplicity Ground Services, LLC is seeking a Supervisory Baggage Handler in the Atlanta area to lead lead agents and ensure safe handling of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft. You will allocate staffing, maintain load integrity and complete shift reports in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong safety awareness, leadership, and the ability to train staff on-the-job while coordinating with airline partners and ground support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lead agents and allocate workload as needed.
• Oversee safe movement of cargo/baggage to/from aircraft and facilities.
• Read and complete load sheets, manifests and labels.
• Ensure safe receipt/dispatch and load integrity for flights.
• Complete shift reports and sign timecards.
• Ensure baggage staff follow safety regulations.
• Prepare disciplinary or performance documentation as required.
• Assist in baggage handling and on-the-job training.
• Operate ground support equipment as needed.
• Attend mandatory training per company and airline requirements.
