Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Buford, GA is hiring a Backwaiter to support front-of-house operations by delivering food promptly and maintaining clean dining areas. No prior experience is required; training is provided and 18+ eligibility is needed.

In this role you will assist with greeting and seating, restock stations, monitor expo lines, and help guests with questions while ensuring excellent guest service and smooth dining room operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders when necessary.
• Support with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
