Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking Backwaiters to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations.

No prior experience is required—training is provided; you must be at least 18 and may need a Food Handler’s Card where applicable. You must be able to stand and lift up to 30 lbs during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s Card may be required where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee and iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of concerns.
• Follow policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating, answering phones and takeout orders.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
