P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring Backwaiters to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously while helping maintain cleanliness and service stations. Training is provided, and all team members help ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires standing and physical activity, 18+ years old, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required as training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler's Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and ensure requests are met.
• Monitor expo line and run trays for dine-in; assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and inform managers of concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packing takeout when needed.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
