Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. seeks a Store Backroom Operations Leader to drive daily backroom activities, from donor door intake through processing and product placement on the sales floor.

You will lead a team, monitor KPIs, ensure quality control, and align backroom output with inventory needs to support sales and mission delivery. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience in production, warehouse, retail, or logistics environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and multi‑priority organization skills.
• Knowledge of production, inventory, and quality control processes with reporting ability.
• Forklift certification preferred or required within organization training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily backroom operations, including donor door ownership, to ensure organized, mission‑driven environment.
• Manage production flow from intake to product placement on sales floor with quality control.
• Lead KPI reviews, coaching, and accountability to meet performance targets.
• Direct scheduling, assignment of tasks, and staffing to achieve sales, service, and labor efficiency goals.
• Support donor stewardship and eCommerce routing for online standards.
