Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager – Backroom Operations in Clarksville East to lead the backroom team. You will own donor door processing, intake to sales floor alignment, and ensure efficient workflows with a focus on quality control and inventory accuracy.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. A forklift cert and valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in business, logistics, management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily backroom operations including donor door intake and sorting.
• Manage production flow, quality control, and inventory movement.
• Plan, schedule, and direct team to meet sales, service, production, and labor targets.
• Lead daily production huddles and monitor performance metrics (KPIs).
• Ensure donor service is friendly, efficient, and compliant with policies.
