Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in Charlottesville, VA, to lead the back-of-house receiving and merchandising flow, partnering with store management to drive efficiency and accuracy. You will supervise the receiving process, ensure cleanliness and organization, reinforce asset protection, and coach associates through workload planning and daily workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Able to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting, processing merchandise, flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup, and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for productivity and protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations participation through company programs.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
