Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to join our Back of House/Receiving team. You will lead receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting, and moving goods to the sales floor while maintaining back-of-house standards and safety protocols.

As a key member of the store leadership team, you will supervise associates, plan workload, and contribute to recruiting and onboarding. This role offers growth opportunities, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization are at standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
