Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the back of house operations in our Charlotte, NC stores. You will supervise receiving, unloading, sorting cartons, and processing merchandise to the sales floor, while upholding safety and asset protection standards.

You’ll coach a team, plan workloads, assist with recruiting and onboarding, and partner with store management to drive results. This is a full-time supervisory role requiring availability nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or big-box environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to supervise store operations and lead a team.
• Able to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to reduce shortages and protect merchandise.
• Direct associates, coordinate workload and drive productivity.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
