Job summary

Burlington Stores in Bangor, ME is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations. You’ll direct receiving, unloading, merchandising flow, and ensure safety and policy compliance while partnering with store management.

As a visible member of the store leadership team, you will coach associates, plan workloads, and help recruit and onboard new staff. Competitive pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal, positive attitude and engagement.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shrink.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Coach associates and recognize performance.
• Direct workload and supervise associates.
• Drive productivity and merchandise protection.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
