Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily Back of House operations, and assisting with ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. If you have a passion for made from scratch Legendary Food.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food service preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant, including assist with serving, hosting, cooking, etc.
• Conducts formal line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste as directed by Kitchen Manager
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Maintains safe food handling procedures
• Ensures Back of House employees follow recipes and procedures
• Assists in developing Back of House employees
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety at all times
• Maintains culture and core values: passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
