Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in daily Back of House operations, including ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. You will supervise production, monitor peak-hour pacing, and ensure safety and quality across all kitchen activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, inventory control, and staff development within a culture of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising food production in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to enforce policies and guide staff.
• Track record of inventory management and cost control.
• Strong leadership and staff training skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant
• Conducts line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste
• Maintains cleanliness and equipment maintenance
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Develops Back of House employees and creates a safe environment
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
