Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily back-of-house operations, including ordering, receiving, prep, and presentation of food. You will help maintain consistency in recipes and safety standards while coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces compliance with employment policies
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages Back of House supervision and supports serving and cooking when needed
• Conducts line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste
• Maintains cleanliness and equipment maintenance
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Adheres to safe food handling procedures
• Ensures BOH employees follow recipes and procedures
• Develops Back of House staff and maintains restaurant culture
• Ensures cleanliness and guest safety
