Job summary

Universal Store in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a motivated cook to join our IHOP kitchen team. You will store, prepare, cook, and plate all food items according to IHOP SOPs and local regulations.

You will develop professional relationships with IHOP staff, memorize galley terminology and plating procedures, maintain a clean, sanitary workstation, and consistently follow health, safety and uniform guidelines. You must be able to stand, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math operations in all units of measure.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with common sense.
• IHOP training course work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees.
• Prepare food according to specifications set forth in the IHOP SOP manuals.
• Memorize and apply IHOP galley terminology, plating, menu items and procedures.
