Job summary

Universal Store is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare, cook, and plate all food items in accordance with IHOP SOPs in a fast-paced environment. You will memorize galley terminology and ensure a clean, sanitary workstation while maintaining compliance with health and safety guidelines.

The role requires strong teamwork and adherence to IHOP standards. Experience with food prep, plating, and following standardized procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow IHOP SOPs and standards.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Basic math for portioning and recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Store, prepare, cook, and properly plate all food items according to IHOP SOPs.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP staff.
• Prepare food according to specifications in IHOP SOP manuals.
• Memorize IHOP galley terminology, plating, menu items and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Comply with local health, sanitation and safety guidelines
