Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Sales Associate for our DESEA Public Store in Seaford, DE. You will engage in B2B sales, deliver consultative value, and build new and existing customer relationships while coordinating resources to meet service needs. A flexible schedule may follow onboarding and performance goals.

You will demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive sales mindset to drive branch success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with ability to use company vehicle
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR equivalent customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong aptitude for sales and a customer service orientation
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Good planning and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
• Adheres to company values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Ability to lift/move 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs)
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
