Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR equivalent customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong sales aptitude and customer service focus
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer-oriented
• Strong math, attention to detail and urgency
• Strong organization, planning and prioritization abilities
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
• Adhere to Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs with assistance
• Pass drug screen where required

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities
• Provide value through consultative sales approach
• Develop and grow relationships from leads and referrals
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs
• Perform local sales calls and drive company vehicle to client sites
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success
