Job summary

develop is a specialist technology recruitment business partnering with brands across the UK, Europe, and the US. We’re growing and looking for a Business Development Representative to open doors with prospective clients and create new opportunities for our Client Solutions and senior sales teams.

In this phone-first role you’ll focus on outbound calling, prospect research, and understanding potential clients’ recruitment needs, enabling our senior salespeople to lead meetings and progress

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales or outbound sales roles.
• Track record of hitting targets and maintaining consistency.
• Strong listening, questioning and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective clients.
• Identify and engage decision-makers within target businesses.
• Understand hiring plans and recruitment challenges through inquiries and listening.
• Handle objections and book qualified meetings for senior sales team.
• Use email and LinkedIn to support calls and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Client Solutions and sales on campaigns and accounts.
• Keep clear notes and next steps in CRM.
• Work toward activity and meeting targets with coaching support.
